Gatlin is NOT that far behind bolt and is performing amazingly well. Usain bolt is NOT an american, thus, we get behind our athletes. I personally am a fan of Tyson Gay and think US is the favorite in the relay.

I predit Gatlin barely wins the 100, bolt destroys everyone in the 200, and US wins the relay...assuming everyone is healthy and not suspended

Gatlin has easily been the top sprinter this year. Saw Gay run at the U.S. Championships a couple of weeks ago and he didn't look nearly as explosive as Gatlin. Gay won the 100, but only because Gatlin didn't have to run to qualify for the Worlds. I think it'll come down to Gatlin and Bolt (if Bolt is healthy). Bolt's 200 run a few weeks ago was underwhelming so we'll see.
