"Middle class" people esp with where we're heading with technology? Idk what kind of stores you go to that got "poor people" working there. Even the cashiers at 7/11 in my area make good money and can afford homes in the $400k price range. If you think poor people (besides in agriculture really) actually contribute more to this economy than upper middle class +, then I got an island to sell you in Kansas. Poor people's buying power is decreasing year after year due to them working in dying industries including retail, service indrustry, etc.

I've always been curious about this. I dunno maybe it's just my experience, but I know like 6 rich dudes and they're the nicest and most generous people I've ever met. My best friend's older bro is big time baller (president of sales at a company) and is the nicest and coolest guy I've ever met. He pays for all our drinks when we go out, makes us great food during cookouts in the summertime, hangs out with us and gets drunk with us all the time, funny as hell, etc... This dude would give the shirt off his back to help a friend in need. Pretty much all the rich people I know are like that

So where did this negative stigma start? Why would you hate on people just for working hard and being more successful than the rest of us?

It's crazy until you realize you got the same Indian person owning multiple 7/11s in a city employing his family members paying them a good wage you'll understand the shift in poor people's role in the economy. I only used 7/11 as an example because I know this guy personally.
