He was squatting. Where is this vinyl bench you speak of? Besides, when I work out I sweat on the bench and I never workout shirtless. People sweat when they are engaged in physical activity. Its apart of your body’s cooling process. Most gyms provide wipes.

It's reasonable to assume that if he takes his shirt off to squat he got his shirt off using other equipment.

And of course people sweat with shirts on. Shirts at least mitigate sweat dripping and soaking everywhere
