:lolbron: but i thought the kobe/Shaq Lakers were so dominant and great? wouldn't that be the most impressive win then? and if you really trynig to play that card, then Kobe/Shaq are lucky as fukk Duncan was out in 2000 :manny: we beat yall 3-1 that year in the season, and swept the year before. Don't forget Yao being out in 09 and Ginobili being fukked up in 08, along with Duncans plantar fasciitis. :usure: also lucky Kendrick Perkins was out for game 7 in 2010

I'm just going to sit back and watch him try and spin this

Lakers weren't a great team in 03. Shaq was suffering from a toe injury, Kobe was playing on a knee that needed surgery and the rest of the roster was old and worn out from playing in 3 consecutive finals.

Kobe wasn't an elite player in 99. In 2000 it was a different story.

No Bynum and Ariza in 08.

The Rockets played better against the Lakers without Yao. Their small lineups killed us.

Bynum and Kobe were hurt in 2010. Bynum was limping towards the end of the series. Phil barely played him.

Their window closed because Chris Webber went down with a knee injury that ended his career as an elite player fool. The Kings were on the short list of contenders in 03 and even in 04 without Webber they were a great team.

The Spurs won one more game than the Kings did in 03 and Mavs won the same number of games as the Spurs.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. The Kings would've beat the Spurs. The Mavs would've too. The Suns who they smashed 4-1 in 05 would've beat them if Joe Johnson wasn't hurt (:mjlol:). The Knicks would've beat them in 99 if Ewing was there. The Suns would've beat them in 07 if Stoudemire and Diaw didn't come off the bench. They would've lost in the first round last year if Kobe wasn't hurt. You were going to kill yourself if they beat Golden State, so I guess you're typing from Heaven right now.

The Spurs didn't earn any of their 5 rings, it was all freak occurrence and happenstance. Tony Parker isn't a top 5 PG, he's borderline top 10, and Kyrie Irving is better than him.

Yes, we know. We seen all your tricks before. *drops a quarter in this bum's cup*

Spurs don't make it to the finals last year if Westbrook was playing and again this year if Ibaka doesn't go down with a calf injury. :manny:

I don't know how you are going to act like Webber and Dirk's season ending injuries didn't play a factor in their teams losing.

I see your repertoire of bullshyt is still expanding. That's your poster shtick, I guess.

While we're at it.

Let's see, 2000. Duncan was hurt. * for the Lakers

2002 Stojakovic was hurt * for the Lakers

2004 Cassell was hurt. So was Karl Malone. * for the Pistons

2006 Stoudemire was hurt. * for the Heat.

2008 Bynum was hurt. So was Ginobili * for the Celtics

2009 Yao and McGrady were hurt. Then Jameer Nelson was banged up and had been out. * for the Lakers

2010 Kendrick Perkins was out game 7 * for the Lakers

2011 Brandon Roy was banged up * for the Mavericks

2012 Paul Pierce knee was fukked up * for the Heat

2013 Ginobili was injured the whole playoffs * for the Heat

Injuries to key players happen in the playoffs every year. You don't win 5 championships by luck.

Ironically, you know what the only real asterisk here is? This, because that series was clearly fixed.

But you don't want to talk about that though.

All I know Kobe is the one with the unhealthy beat up body. Duncan is more fit than Kobe and has been playing a vital role for the Spurs while excelling both side of the floor. Nikkas praising Kobe like he is the one who had been in two straight finals in the last couple of years:mjlol:

Yea, that game 5 where Sac shot 40 free throws and the Lakers only 15 seemed real sketchy to me.

Kobe won 2 more rings than you all said he would. "Now that Shaq is gone, Kobe wont sniff another finals much less win one"

yall wanna talk about 08, lets talk about it. Lakers were number 1 seed. Spurs were 3rd. Our side of the bracket was stacked and once they got to the western conference finals, spurs were worn down (you kobe fans use the same arguments for lakers being tired in the 3peat) We had just won the title the previous year.

The first round they played a stacked suns team with amare, nash, shaq, diaw, barbosa, and a resurging grant hill. Lakers played a weak 8 seed nugget team.

Second round the spurs played the best team in the west, New Orleans hornets, who were on a roll at that time. Spurs beat them in 7 games, with the 7th being in New Orleans. spurs beat them after being down 2 games to 3. spurs won 2 straight and were exhausted. And I recall they played the lakers right after with 1 day rest.

The spurs front office failed to make any offseason moves after our title in 07 and this came to bite them in the end. The team relied heavily on the big three during this season, and couldn't survive if one of them succumbed to injury. That eventually happened before the showdown with the lakers. Our 2nd best player of the season Manu got hurt and never recovered. The one game he felt like himself was the one game the spurs won. on top of that phil has always owned pop. If lakers played that Hornets team, I don't know if they would have even made it to the finals. spurs did them a favor.

Duncan more fit than Kobe?

:laff:

You don't actually believe this do you?

:laff:

Are we really questioning Kobe's conditioning now?
