I bought the collection with 1-3 since I'd never played them before. I'm about 4 chapters into the 1st one and I can't get into for some reason. The puzzles are cool but the shooting is pretty annoying. I don't know if I should give up and sell it or keep playing through.
Why is uncharted so loved ?

I have to honestly say out of the four only two is memorable
Uncharted 2 is the pinnacle of gaming and it's better than TLOU.
3 and 4 try too hard and it killdd the fun that 2 had.
It's like 50 cent trying to recreate in da club. You can never get the original feel back..that's what happened with Uncharted.
