Why is Vince afraid to turn Roman heel?

I keep hearing this, but where is the proof and research that backs up this claim that you can completely ignore one demographic to cater to kids? Its a excuse they have been leaning on for too long now.. Yes being able to entertain kids AND adults brings in the most money but how does just entertaining kids make business sense? IMO they are failing because of this mindset or atleast their ratings are which they may not care aobut anymore
Its more that he's stubborn than afraid. Turning Reigns would mean his vision of Roman as this next great flagship babyface may be faulty. He also doesn't want to give in to disgruntled fans, it's all about his ego in the end.

I'm not apart of that crowd I am just stating facts. if this strategy worked than the why are the ratings getting worse. I don't care I will watch what I like and keep it moving. But they ain't capitalizing on all the money they could be making

Ratings matter to their sponsors which are the reason this ship still runs. They will need ratings to keep them happy or theyll run off to advertise somewhere else. It behooves Vince to do something and quick before hes in the mid 1's

It's mostly stubbornness, but there are more levels to it because Vince knows Roman can be hugely over as a face. He was red hot in '14 and he still gets loud pops and cheers in a lot of cities, it's just that he's so staunchly rejected by smark neckbeards for being pushed over fan favorites that the babyface aspirations never really come to fruition. So the question is, should Vince turn Roman heel just because a bunch of fans are salty as fukk? I mean, I'm not saying his current babyface role works all that well but that's because his babyface character, like pretty much every other character in the E, is just poorly written shyt. The problem with Roman is the problem with every other wrestler in the company, even if they're in a place that makes sense, creative will find a way to fukk it up.

Complicated: Because if he turns him, more than likely the cats who boo him will start cheering for him and the kids will start booing him so he'd be in the same position just in reverse. I think it'd be easier for him to find his character as a heel though which is the one reason I'd do it

It's so odd that all of the "smarks" want him to be heel when...
1. He was already heel (a monster heel) and was cheered as a heel, thus they turned him and the rest of The Shield face.
2. If he becomes heel again, he'll feud with the top face (Cena) and guess what? He'll be cheered again. If he were to become some monster heel again, he'd still be cheered.
It's like, they constantly want the top face to turn heel. If all of the faces turn heel, then who do you WANT to be the face? Roman's not going to become Cena. He's already Cena because no one knows what the hell they want him to be and claim that he sucks, but get invested into every match. If you're Vince, you've got to be thinking that it doesn't matter either way so long as there's a reaction so fukk it. Let the kid make money and sell merch while he can.
