I’m a late bloomer with women so I ignored some red flags. She was in my face as soon as she saw me and she let me hit quick so I said why not.

I didn’t even think the relationship would last as long as it did. If I’d gotten to know her b4 hand I prolly wouldn’t have wasted 2 1/2 years. Also both her parents are preachers and zealots. Relationship with them was nonexistent.

I had known her since college but we just fooled around. She knew I was a man whore in college and I never hid it but she still hung around.

Fast forward 4/5 years after college, we hook up again on and off, and she just keeps hanging around. I guess I had to claim her without claiming her at that point. I told her straight up I’ll be monogamous but my career comes first.

Fast forward to this year, she complains that I care more about my career than her. I tell her she knew what the deal was from day one, and that she’s free to leave anytime. Claims I’ve wasted her “prime years” and resents me... I go back to playing NBA 2K.
