Some of the Artisan hood flicks are lost in a weird timeframe. There was so much piff that's sadly not being accessible on streaming sites because nobody gives a shyt. Especially "Foolish" which was one of my favorite movies at the time and the best No Limit flick next to I'm Bout It.
This post co jures up resentment on how big media did UPN and all those black centered shows on air in the later half of the 90s early 00s.
The Parent hood was a favorite of mine. Brandy was a good family show.
Parkers was funny in the beginning. You had GIRLFRIENDS for the ladies.
That show with Flex as a single dad.
IN THE HOUSE with LL.
The show with Malcolm and EDDIE
Malcolm Jamal Warner should be given more chances to work IMO. I would like to see his ideas on some shows he would like to do.
Black people got did dirty and they pushed that ratchet reality bullshyt onto us and black people on TV are almost attached to sleezy TV mowadays when that was white people lane with springer and shows like that...real world ...and undressed.
