Why isn't alcohol treated as a drug even though it clearly is?

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
They tried to treat it as a drug during prohibition
But cacs loved consuming and selling it too much. America was at risk of having to jail too many cacs behind it so they reversed course and made alcohol synonymous with american culture. To the extent the person you're supposed to vote in a president is the guy you'd most like "having a beer with"
The prohibition era was basically a scam to help out Henry Ford and stop the sale of Ethanol as the cleaner solution to power cars with.

I know people who are hardcore alcoholics who label others drug addicts over the slightest shyt. Have another drink.

Pops said “nothing worse than a woman who drinks”. He never lied.

Wouldn't ethanol production skyrocket and the price fall if corn was no longer being used for alcohol.
