He's too dumb to grasp the concepts of team defense and rotations. Ray is a terrible on the ball defender because he no longer has the lateral quickness to stay in front of guys, but he still understands angles and rotations and does a good job of closing out on the perimeter. Same with Rashard. Beas is literally lost on that end of the court. He never knows where he's supposed to be and it collapses the entire defense.

Think they just trying to mold him slowly and build his moral to get him to come for cheap next year because u got 3 spots opening up potentially next year year with battier, allen, and lewis possibly hanging it up.

Let them final year vets feel good about contributing while the youngin gets humbled and watch how the team executes plus get a full preseason workout. Him bron and chalmers are always together so i doubt he gone
