Why isnt Conversate a word?

The same reason irregardless isn't a word.

Granted some words can "become" words, it doesn't mean we should take extreme liberty with established linguistics

The english language is dumb as fukk.

Irregardless doesn't even make sense breh, but I can understand why people would use conversate.. But basically it's the same reason informating is not a word, you say informing right?

Conversation - conversing
