I've been there and I loved it. I'd go back anytime.
I swear. My wife has family out there so we visit a few times a year and it feels like we're ALWAYS in the car there.
What someone said earlier is true tho. There is no real entertainment district anywhere in the metro, atleast not one that caters towards black people. Cacs have plenty of things to do here

i think the rap scene not poppin cuz its a hodge podge type of ppl here,natives, transplants and the like and errybody gotta different sound and whats "poppin" in the music scene is repetitiveness or sameness and thats not dfw simply
True that. I notice alot of people native to Dallas, have different taste in whats cool and whats fun and what sounds good compared to the people from Lousianna, or from up north or from Cali.

The more it's talked about the more people rush over there and rents skyrocket, so be glad it's not looked at as a hotspot. Austin is all over these magazines as the 'coolest place to be', and I hear the cost of living out there is going up dramatically.

Texas as a whole is kinda slept on for being "country" , but Dallas definitely has a reputation of being a city for country ass Texas cac's with money.
Houston has been more favorably represented in the media than Dallas for the past decade.

true cuz before i stopped reading informative information i had read that there is ALOT of $$$ in Dfw, more than one would think just by looking at Oak Cliff, hell if u ride thru certain spots in OC youll see big ass mansions ducked off ledbetter n the like, how they "gentrified" south dallas, and thats just dallas not to even mention plano n frisco type places, we real slept on n i for 1 am glad we are
