im not arguing all that. i just find disgust with some of these logics.

2pac is the goat imo, but i still gotta call a spade. i dont see him staying in the top tier thru the rest of the '90s, let alone eternity.

i actually see DMX' legacy being even stronger than it is now, if pac & big lived. because i see dmx being the one to hand pac the L that biggie & those other cats couldnt deliver.

s'all im sayin.

meh. dmx would have been seen as a step child of pac. he would have really been seen as a nikka tryna copy pac style. pac would have rode that shyt like he rode "big took my style and newyorkatized it". he would of had an even better argument. you couldn't be similar to nikkas back in the 90's wthout getting flack. same thing happen with bone and twista.......

and lets be serious most nikkas only praise dmx as much as they do because he reminded them of pac.

yes it would be a good battle but I don't see d coming out victorious.

also that "yo that nikka 2pac can suck my dikk" was a weak ass diss for starters. be real bruh. now if he would have dissed pac with that nikkas done started verse that would have been a good start imo.

dmx in prime was better than pac lyrically, and was a more disrespectful disser

DMX And and pac had nuthing in common so pac couldnt say he took his style

Pac was a conscious rapper , dmx was a hardcore religious rowdy type , who made barking sounds

Only thing they had in common was that they were both dark short skinny and bald

dmx & pac didnt have any similarities outside of their look. not to mention, when dmx was dissin pac, he was prolly 30-50 pounds heavier than he was when he blew up.

name me a big act in the '90s, and i will name you a bunch of similar artists and/or knockoffs. you talk about the bone thug thing, but what about all the rappers that blew up off their wave? o.g. 3-6 mafia, crucial conflict, do or die, hell even mystikal. also, twista had his most success in the '90s off of the bone wave.

but again, dmx wasnt a pac knockoff, aside from the way def jam marketed him on the slick when he 1st went mainstream. and they were bound to bump heads. dmx had what it took to go against pac. also, keep in mind, this was a hungry & prime dmx. i dont think you would be able to say the same about pac by that point. that right there is the nail in the coffin for me.

yup yup.

saw this coming a mile away. he was chittin on the industry the entire time he was on top.

the only reason they acknowledge his legacy at all is because of what he did for new york & def jam.

bruh pac was hungry.....nikka was in the middle of battling biggie. pac wasn't even in his prime yet......when pac died he was just just getting real big bruh.

pac was different from your avg rapper. WHY YOU THINK nikka got songs coming out left and right still?

pac work ethic at that time tells me he very hungry. he was just starting to tryna destroy big and all newcomers. pac was taking on everybody. fact.

and yes the casual fan only likes dmx as much because he was supposed to be the next pac. same with ja rule. sorry.

and I think the nikka even said so some shyt like "if you looking for the next pac.....its me". shyt was in them old xxl and source mags.

DMX would of been rolling with Biggie and Bad Boy had he lived. Let's not forget he went at Pac on his "Who Shot Ya" freestyle and went at the West on his "I Shot Ya" freestyle. DMX was down to battle, don't sleep:

lol @ the casual fan only liking dmx because of pac. cmon son. DMX touched bases that pac never tagged.

biggie was light-work with the diss records. he had nothing for pac. lets be reality. dmx is a different story tho.

yea, pac had alot of songs done, but how many of those unreleased joints were really hitting home runs? pac was no different from your average GREAT rapper. once youre on top, theres nowhere else to go but down. and keep in mind, this was the '90s, when you had to BRING IT everytime out.. he couldve followed-up with a great album, but if it wasnt as good as 7 day theory/aeom/matw, he wouldve been tagged as a fall-off. meanwhile, in comes the new breed with dmx leading the charge. thats how it be happenin.........or it used to.

I already know about that, its old and weak. who did dmx ever destroy in a battle. I know about the jayz shyt? why could dmx couldn't destroy jay z in a battle? he was still alive.

he dissed em to. so you telling me someone who stayed alive couldn't destroy none of the top rappers but he was supposed to kick pac out of the game?:ohhh:

he didnt destroy jay, maybe because they were friends and never went head-up on wax?

and what rappers did pac destroy? yea, he waxed alot of dudes, but their careers continued on fine. rarely does anyone's career actually get destroyed over a battle anyway. look at what nas did to jay. at the end of the day, jay was still more popular.

but with dmx, i think he wouldve waxed pac and dropped the better album. pac wouldve had to drop a couple notches after that, especially when you consider how the biased media & industry would act as if dmx had just won the civil war and freed the slaves. they would be dikkriding dmx to this day.
