Forreal tho, this would be a simple solution to stop how corrupt these faggs are. If u want to be a politician and serve the people then that's exactly what you should be getting paid to do! Plus most of them get rich off of shady ass backdoor deals and can create laws to protect them in the process. I think we should try to expand the pool of politicians, not limit it. Where there is corruption, we should punish it.

Where do you people stand on term limits particularly as a means to reduce corruption? I think limiting a persons time in office could limit their power and therefore the desire of others to corrupt them.

Nothing stops corruption. But if congress people are less powerful because there only there for say, 2 terms, they can do less damage, and theres less reason to corrupt them.

It wont matter. They'll just put the business in a family member or use some other type of loophole.

What needs to be done is US, americans, need to start holding these people accountable for their crimes.
Right now, the government is under the impression that we work for them, when we hired them for office, pay their pay checks, etc... so accually they are OUR employees.
You dont see the owners of KFC making chicken and paying the workers do you?
Another "peoples" branch of government needs to be created to check the other 3.
