Why isn't J. Cole in these Kendrick/Drake discussions for top 2?

To be honest Kendrick wouldn't have been considered on Drakes level a month ago,or whenever that Control verse came out....he managed to leapfrog all them nikkas just by saying names and throwin the challenge out there.......let that be a lesson to these nikkas,sometimes u gotta climb over your friends to get to the top

basically...Kendrick was getting recognized, but not to this level...he's the flavor of the month cause of that control verse....since drake is considered the standard and no one has solidified his/herself the same as him, the other person that gets compared to him is interchangeable at this point...which is why cole isn't being discussed at the moment when it comes to this supposed top 2
