Why isn't "Relationships 101" not taught in High School?

It would be based solely on the teachers perspective which pretty subjective. Religion, races, etc. are factors that won’t allow a comprehensive learning…..
That's a good point. That's why I meant it should be optional and keep the teachings simple

Alot of kids don't know about the effort a marriage takes because like I said earlier, in the TV and books they read, the show is over once u get the prize.

What do y’all parents do? Folks be wanting schools to teach you every single thing that’s going on in the world. At some point y’all gotta do some of your own reading too
Statistically 77% of Black kids I think come from single parents.

How can u learn from a mom who it didn't work out for her?
Some kids could but some kids would look at their mom like

Lol so only people in relationships can give relationship advice? What if it’s a toxic and abusive relationships or years of infidelity? They are still qualified.

A lot of y’all struggling in relationships because someone told y’all to “stick it out”, “cheat back” or whatever else.

:hhh: Why do ya'll want K-12 to basically raise ya'll kids?

My dad sat me down weekly to learn how to manage money, not school.

YOU should teach your kids about relationships, not a muh'fukka with a degree.

Especially in these schools with all these single 20 something teaching kids.

That is untrue.

77% come from UNMARRIED parents. There's a difference.

Black men, according the same CDC that's running us over the last two years, researched that black men are the most involved parents in a child daily life.

I'll give you an example of how I saw it in my head when I made this thread

Imagine a few video game nerds 16 year old black dudes sitting at the lunch table seeing all the athletes get the cheerleaders and they all...

"why they don't want us? I got decent grades but I can't dunk a ball"
:to:

then they sign up to the optional "relationships 101" after school class

they learn about the pros and cons about Marriage and how people can potentially grow apart and how that's a natural part of life so it's best to select a mate who you can be with forthe long haul rather just being with the 1st person who smiles at you and takes selfies with you in High School. And that thick high school girls become fat wives
:lolbron:

that same kid might be like...

:picard:
"Never mind, I don't want to be on child support 18 years or have to pay a bytch alimony if we break up. I'll stick to playing Halo until i can mentally fathom that life"

His decent grades might improve because the Simpitude nature will leave his brain and he will focus on being the best version of himself during the years that matter.

Now I know this sounds like basic knowledge that we all got in the 80s and 90s but these 2000 babies are a different breed.

Alot of them grew up on the Maury show after school and Celeb culture and figure it's OK to have 4 baby mommas out there like all their favorite rappers. Might even brag about it.

Some young 20 year old's only idol out there could've been Lil Wayne and Future.

Been following their every move on Twitter for over a decade

I think relationships should be thought at home. Mothers should teach daughters how to become wives and Fathers should teach sons how to become husbands. It should start pre kindergarten through high school.

But, regardless of where it is taught, people gonna do what they wanna do, so....
