t.i. is someone im confident could hold his own on a track w/ any rapper. talented guy. i dont think anyone questions him as a lyricist. i dunno about top 10 but def. one of this best of the era i grew up in. also one of the 1st rappers id point to when eastcoast fans got self righteous claiming that the south "killed hiphop." some of his albums come off a bit formulaic. thats the only knock i would hav against him.

He is on cruise control right now.

He COULD go in with that real shyt...but he chooses not to.

T.I. Is SUPER versatile .... I don't think there's a beat that he can't sound right on.

I was just saying this...TIP has never really had a "sound" that's hurt other artists

Dude's sonic versatility is why he can last so long...you don't hear him on JUST trap beats or JUST sped up soul samples...he's very much a risk taker
