Nas just had a really good run

As a huge Nas fan I didn't really get much out of his hitboy run. A lot of those projects felt like something he did to get some motion for Mass Appeal so they could do some of the projects they're doing now like Slick Rick, Raekwon ect.

Jay already been through the process of carrying the work load to build up cache for his record label. He'll drop when he feels it's important to drop.

You can chalk it up to being afraid of the numbers or whatever but Jay, if anything is a thoughtful MC. If he says he's only interested in putting out material that matters to him rather than just to stay 'relevant' I don't think he's lying.

I don’t want no new Jay. He’s given me more than enough art to enjoy for the rest of my days. I only want that nikka to enjoy the rest of his days. Unless it’s a passion project like Nas and Preemo I fully expect him to be with his kids, and hunch of Beyoncé from time to time. We can’t say we love these artists then cry when they finally want to enjoy their wins and have peace.
