The Atlanta comeback and the W against the Seahawks dead this anyway.
:hubie:
How? When Tom left the field the second to last time he didn't get the score they needed. He literally walks off the field with his head down knowing it looks bad. BUT THEN, the Seahawks make one of the DUMBEST plays in the history of football and gift wrap that Super Bowl to Brady. When he came back for the last time all he had to do was run the clock out.

How many did his defense carry him to? :mjlol:
Like come on. The "Tuck Rule" gave him one. Pete Carroll gave him another. A stacked Tampa Defense gave him another.
He went 16-0 and lost in the super bowl to a 10-6 wildcard team it beat in the regular season. Greatest offense of all time and only scored 14 points.
Then there's spy gate and deflate gate.

You seem confused...I didn't address who is better. I was just addressing the comment that the Seahawks Super Bowl is evidence that Brady is the GOAT since that one was CLEARLY handed to him on a silver platter.

Not sure why you even bothered to type this low IQ sh!t. What I said is 100% facts. Wasn't addressing whether Brady is the GOAT, just that the Seahawks Super Bowl is not what you would choose to make the argument since it was gifted to him. Nyqqas really struggle with reading comprehension in here.

You have to look at the era. Would Montana thrive in 2020s? Absolutely... That's not even a question and his career would have been extended because you can't touch quarterbacks.

Would Brady thrive in the 1980s? Probably but would he have been playing into his late 30s and early 40s? No.

This game was a prime example of Montana's greatness. Both teams had stacked defenses. But Joe Montana threw the only TD in the game.

They played again in the NFC Title Game and that's when Montana got hurt. Had he not got hurt in the game, he would've been 5 - 0 in super bowls, because they were going to be the Bills.

The era he played in solidifies him as the GOAT. Why? Because in the 80's teams, more importantly defenses, stayed together. There wasn't as much player movement has it's been over the last 20 years. Free Agency and Salary Cap really started in the early 90's. And there wasn't the protections for QB's as there are today. Brady had the luxury of playing in a trash division for most of his career. Mahomes got blown out in the super bowl twice. Manning got blown out in the Super Bowl as well. The Cowboys may have very well challenged him, had he not got hurt and lost his job, but realistically, a healthy Montana could've added 1 or 2 more titles to his resume. He had to deal with the the Bears, Giants and Philly defenses every year. That should mean something. The past 20 years has basically been about stats which has been spearheaded by a bunch of rule changes.
By that logic the QBs who came before Montana are better because they played with more restrictive passing rules.

Prior to 1978 you couldn’t extend your arms to pass protect.

Passing was not the wrong call. People love to assume "Beastmode" would have just walked in if given the ball. The fact is that he was pretty bad in short yardage situations that year, and had just been stopped by Hightower before that play.
