Hard to judge Klay defensively because he is usually dealing with a player who is already hot from roasting steph...at that point sometimes it's not much you can do...

I seen to many games where westbrook or dame or chris paul has torched steph and got a quick 8 or 10 points then GS is like "okay Klay you guard him"...uh...kind of to late for that...

Person who has a defensive player mentality gets what you're saying. Klay plays EXCELLENT ball denial. Doing that disrupts the offense. It won't show up on stats, but it's mark of good/great defender.
It's the NBA, virtually impossible to put the clamps on a scorer..but keeping him from getting the ball when and where he wants it is a great way to break his rhythm.

Actually they don't. Harden consistently is 1st or 2nd in steals and 1st or 2nd in deflections and has horrible defensive metrics stats because he's not a good defender. It goes by how many points you give up when you are on the floor. Once again you have 0 idea what you are talking about.

Klay just isn't a all world defender. He just has that reputation because one commentator says it and the rest follow like sheep when the actually stats and film says that he isn't that guy.
