Shane battier's D is some hot ass trash.. always fouling 3 point jump shooters and shyt, cant stay in front of his opponent most of the time...they do that to save bron's energy for the 4th quarter..watch some more heat games...Bron always guards the best players in the 4th.

and anyway bron the gawd but his defense aint consistent enough to be a dpoy.

Lockin dudes up? What are you watching? Battier defense is wack..and I love dude n/h..he ANNOYS people, but that's it.

He always gets lit up..Jeff Green did it, Melo did it..Paul George, etc..

Perfect example would be that Knicks game where Shane covered melo first 3 and melo had 32 but in the 4th bron took over melo had zero

Now I def agree with this..his 08-09 defense was at its peak, shot-blocking, man to man defense, help defense, steals..and he did it on a consistent basis too.

He takes too many nights off these days.

Dont get me wrong, Battier is my guy..you can count on him to hit 2 or 3 important 3's in the playoffs..take a clutch charge:ljpls:, annoy some players.

Thats exactly what I'm saying. He still a good defender but he doesbt have to lock up the best player night after night now... when i think of dpoy that's what i expect...
