I'm not lying when I say that I haven't played the game and actually may cop or play the game when it hits Plus. Sackboy still the homie but on the dead marsupials Astrobot looks like crack rocks.

Not really sure what microsoft has to do with little big planet series, that ended on the ps3?
the series “died” because the developer wanted to move onto new games. They gave it to an external developer and no one really cared anymore. Then they made a spinoff series for the ps5.
Some games are just good for the moment.

what if Nintendo decided they was good with the first two Mario, (Mario 1 and Japanese Mario 2), where would we be then?
User generated levels and games, this was like the Youtube of game creation but some weirdo ruined it.
Crazy because with all the advancements in Gen-AI happening right now, this game would be super charged even more... Just read that Roblox is going to have features where people can generate worlds with text prompts soon.

Little big planet was never Mario. It’s Mario Maker, if Nintendo doesn’t make another Mario Maker i doubt anyone cares.

Yeah they were ahead of their time. In actuality, a game like that today combined with some AI tech would be insane.
"Create a 2D platformer with controls just like Mario 3 but with cel shaded graphics" and then you can just tweak the rest. Someone has to be working on a game like this.
