when i was there some dude on one of the smaller ships was drunk, and didn't have money to pay for his cab fare and stabbed the driver killing him.
couple dudes went out cant remember if they were navy or marines but broke the window of a store and pissed on the merchandise [drunk of course]
Japanese are some docile people, kind, always willing to help if you're lost..of course you still get the stares from the older people but i never had any issues out in town.
