they aren't doing it because they believe in equality or are feminism or w/e

they're literally showing off to other women how big of a simp they were able to grab

the same way men would show off a trophy wife

its basically a status symbol :ohhh:

normal women constantly wear their wedding ring to show off how they found a simp that was willing to put half his wealth up and provide for her, with nothing in return

but a hyphenated name goes beyond and says "my simp has such little dignity he hyphenated his last name for me, just imagine what else I can get away with in this relationship" :mjlol:

when other women see that they cant help but go :wow:

Life Tip: Stay away from women who never want children and who want to hyphenate their last name. They are not good partners and won't be good mothers. They prioritize themselves in all facets of their lives.:mjpls:

If a woman wanted a hyphenated last name I would say "Naw, that's alright. You keep your name." :hubie:

She wants the status symbol of marriage but if there's a divorce she wants to be able to drop your name and not have it affect her professionally. :usure:

I would make sure that my children have my last name. I would let her ass stay "outside the circle" while I and my children have the same surnames.:jawalrus:

But I would never marry a woman who would hyphenate her last name so I guess it's a moot point.

I'd let her have it, I could give two fukks about old principles specially not those based on cac religions. In certain African countries they didn't have last names until the cacs came and some still don't.
Let the kids have it too if it's a fly last name like Obama or some shyt.
