Why masks still matter

I never stopped wearing mine. Gotta deal with the public on a daily basis and most of them don't give a fukk about their own health, let alone anyone else's.​

I’ve noticed that anyone wearing masks in public now are considered slam dunks by edgy, autistic, lames looking to “roast” someone, like the whole population of China hasn’t been rocking masks in public for the last 20+ years (obviously hyperbole)

People have looked at me different or tried to flame me when I wear mine. Some woman signaled for her husband to look at me as a walked past as if to say “look, he’s wearing a mask” and I asked them if they had an issue and they turned around and walked away. I’ve been asked at stores by people in a mocking way if I feel safer wearing a mask. I just ask them if I’m making them feel comfortable and they stfu. Like you don’t expect me to respond when you’re clearly trying to mess with me

There’s your problem right there. Stop giving a fukk about what others think about you, and just do you. Them dudes ain’t gonna foot the bill if you get sick so why does their opinion matter? People still regularly wearing masks in the Bay.

I still wear one everywhere. At work, I would say 1% of people wear it so I’m in the minority. There’s still a good amount of mask on subways and buses.
