Why Music Heads Glaze Spotify, when the Alts put the service to shame?

I don't get it

I have been using Deezer for a spell and the service shytttttts all over Spotify with no form of wiping:

• Hifi
• Flow>>>>>>Spotify's tired algorithm
• Legit radio stations and some podcasts vs Podcast and Audiobooks in the way of music
• AI not all in the videos
• Better curation of playlists (found some legit slept on piff)

Like its 2025, and mofos are dying on hills just to get a cheap membership for a cheap ass service, when there's better streaming sites that are slept on.

Spotify algorithm is bad for rap tho. It doesn't understand that just because an artist is technically drill or gangsta doesn't mean you should recommend a bunch of shytty drill rappers. Takes no interest in the depth and nuance of the subject matter nor the lyrical ability of the artist themselves.

I like YouTube Music because it has a lot of rare house mixes and EPs that people upload to regular YouTube. And I had a lot of YouTube playlists that it automatically pulls in.

I had it back when it was Google Play Music and then it changed to YouTube Music and gave you YouTube premium with it. Been working well for me.

Breh the algorithm is ass once you realize that its predetermined:

• Listen to soul= recommends featuring tracks that were sampled by rappers
• Listen to rock= focuses on the good Ole days of butt rock or emo hits
• Listen to Griselda= the same few artists that fits that mold

So predictable. Don't get me started with the same ole hits, rather than other songs a artist has in their catalog. Meanwhile, Deezer pulls out some random Babyface and got the gall to play a Keith Washington track

That's what I go through with Soca. I wanted to make a playlist based on Machel Montano, I'm not in the mood for Vybz Kartel. But I also got that with Pandora radio as well.

it was released in Europe first, and was europe only until 2015, which is why i think most people dont now about it.

i fukk with youtube music cuz i can upload my whole library for the free. tracks never disappearing from albums
