... It's embarrassing for a musician to move 800k with his debut album in 2012? He's got a lot of followers that follow his twitter, his jokes, his weed smoking, his popularity and what not that's obvious. Dude made $10 million of shows in 1 year between summer 2010 and summer 2011. For all we know he might have a high ratio of fans that downloaded his album and bought a dime sack instead.

When I've been to Nas shows it seems like most of them are college aged people and they are probably the biggest twitter crowd. Wiz might have more younger teenagers, but I doubt that's the thing. His twitter game just isn't really poppin like that. Him having 800k is still quite a lot for not handling his own twitter.

If Nas was funnier, a more interesting life, more ballin or tweeting himself he would probably have 2-3 times more like Fab.
Probably still not like Wiz Khalifa since he's got more of those teenagers as you mention and he's got a bigger name commercially and internationally so he's got people who doesn't even like his music following him just cause he's famous and weedheads following cause he's a famous weed promoter or whatever you wanna call it just like Snoop Dogg ( I think he has like 10 million followers).

Twitter is for entertainment and a cool promotional tool, but having a bunch a twitter followers really doesn't mean shyt in the long run and I think it hurts "Rappers" more than it helps

If a rapper tweets too much He Corny, If a rapper hardly tweets he Boring...

I mainly follow rappers hoping they say some dumb shyt and to get links to their music.
