Reminds me of what happened about a week ago with Walmart. They shipped an item late for my nephew, so it was going to come in after Christmas and all they wanted to offer was a fukkin coupon to use their business again going forward :mjlol:

At least some stores will offer you bread back for your troubles.
I had to call back a second time to take care of the shoes where they'd shipped the wrong one. When I made the original call I was unaware that the first set of shoes were wrong. I hadn't taken them out the box. I'd just immediately called once I saw the delivery box and only one pair of shoes. So I go to wrap the set that did come and open the box and bam.....wrong shoes. I'm like WTF. So I call these bytches again and all they offer me was a 20% coupon. The funny thing is, when I got the other pair of shoes from Amazon, they were the same exact price as the Nike site. Nike may as well just setup an Amazon store and call it a day. SMH.

:mjlol: I bullshyt you not breh

They're dropping the OG Deions in February and all the PG colorways through the year.

Yeah, I don't get it. I got a homegirl with a younger brother, he's like 21 and they came to the crib for Thanksgiving and this dude shows up with a Nike tech suit on, slides and a durag, just looking dusty as hell.
It's the parents fault for letting shyt like that slide (don't ask me how lol :mjlol: ).
They let these kids/young adults walk with them and go out in public looking like some dusty ass bums. That shyt was not happening with me and my mother. It use to be some sort of standard when going out in public but nowadays there is no standards. When I go to Walmart or Target people show up like they rolled out of bed or just got off the couch. Society as a whole has just given up. Sorry for the tangent.

Also something happened a few years back when kids just said fukk Jordans/Nikes and shoes as a whole and started rockin Crocs everyday religiously. Hell some still do. They were cheaper and you could customize them with those pins. Resell was out of control and this was the perfect alternative for a lot of households but now you can't them out of the Crocs and if they do cop shoes it's NB and Asics.
Nike just dropped the ball around.

I blame the Kobe shoe. They literally put out the same looking shoe 20 years in a row. Besides no one wears basketball shoes casually anymore. Other than the legend blues which I had to come out of retirement for and probably won't wear. I've just been buying their Air Max classic retros the past few years. I did pick up the spiridons too but if I'm going on vacation and no I'll be at my feet for 12 hours I would much rather use Adidas or New balance because they're actually comfortable.

Nobody wears basketball shoes casually anymore because they look like shyt. Who the hell wants to wear Kyries, Devin Bookers or Ja morants?🤢

I also saw yesterday that they brought the shox back. Hideous. The 2000s were a terrible period for Nike

I still wear Nikes for my sport shoes - workout (Metcon for gym, Pegasus for running, golf shoes). But in terms of "fashion" shoes, I found that the designs were a bit out there, or that the quality of shoes like Jordans and Dunks were just not there. The shoes were also uncomfortable.

I'm not much a sneaker head anymore, but I went through an Adidas phase (Yeezys) and now have moved on to New Balance (never thought I would say that). New Balance 990 and 9060 are now my casual sneakers.

The white people I work with seemed to have all moved on to On and Hoka - both of which I think are super ugly and I would never wear. But that is what they are wearing now.

In terms of workout clothing I do Voiri, Rhone or Lululemon. I never thought Nike actually had great gym clothes. Nike hoodies/sweats are still nice though.

A lot of competition

Leaning on brand loyalty, too many different chefs in the kitchen, creative slump placated by a back catalogue that is being whored to oblivion, reseller market on zombie time and a warped idea of quality vs pricing. On top of that the shoes don't hit Ike they used to.

When it comes to Nike and Jordan’s, I’m satisfied. I’ve got enough and I’m aging. They don’t look good rocking with casual fits and with Nikes the older you are the more it looks forced or even childish imo. Adidas and puma have come up too and can be worn seamlessly with casual wear.

This the part I hate
We need those mom and pop spots back
And they need actual designers instead of “influencers”
the mom & pops only mattered when most of the drops were quality

they still have good designer collabs but there are so many that once again it's all going to come down to an individuals taste level & access

..........
