I got a couple pair of 1s, the cement Jays, and a couple more that I wanted. I’m cool on anything else unless I get them Deions again. Nike were feeling themselves and let other brands catch up. Remember when people said Adidas were done out here? :mjlol: Man it was hard to find Nikes out here and the Nike store shoes cost too damn much.. plus these LeBrons and other athlete shoes ain’t it. I have a pair of Zion’s and some Kyrie’s that I barely look at.

This.

When Nike thought that that could just keep releasing the same shoes from the 80's and 90's and not make new designs, is where they f*cked up.

It's not about... "I wonder what type of new shoe's Nike is coming out with?" Now it's about... "What old shoes are Nike about to bring back?"

It's about to be 2025 and Nike it still trying to live off of shoe designs and remixes of shoe's from the 80's and early 90's. LOL

It was just a matter of time before sale's started slipping.
The old shoes are killing the new shoes though. Lebron and Giannis shoes are polluting Nike stores all over North Carolina lol. They have to drop the prices to get rid of them.

It's 100 percent the price that's why ASICS and new balance are the two hottest shoes right now
I fukk with new balance heavy but I’d wear the cheapest Nikes over ASICS. Don’t know what people see in them

Dawned on me this holiday season, I’ve bought 4 pairs of Nikes this year that cost at least a buck, but my $40 sneakers get all the play. Quality and comfort is just not there any more at the average consumer’s price point.

I can tell 99% of the thread didn't watch the video.

The foremost reason Nike f*cked up is they tried to move to direct-to-consumer. IE, cut out brick and mortar stores.

I don't know how often you all go to the mall, etc. but for a while Footlocker, Champs, Footaction, etc. had little to no Nike products because Nike wanted to sell via their own site, app, etc.

This worked like magic during covid because nobody could shop in person, anyway. After covid when everyone wanted to get out of the f*cking house, Nike's plan fell off a cliff. People went to stores and seen New Balance, Asics, Adidas, etc. and bought those instead of Nike.

Other sh*t like too many retros and/or lack of innovation are issues but those are minor compared to Nike's gamble with direct-to-consumer. They been quietly rolling that back for the last year or so.

Fred.

I didn't watch the flick....but ordering shoes online is not it and never will be.

And the White Cement 4s, Flu Games, and Taxis. After that, that’s it. I’m out the game. :guilty:

I got the legend blue 11s and the kobe af1s but i dont know when im really going to where them shyts cause yall right the comfort is not really there. Are the Hoka and ON joints really that comfortable? I wear steel toe work boots all week so i need to be comfortable and the adidas boost joints feel great on my feet

They aren’t struggling, they just aren’t making the huge profits they were before.

This is what happens when you encourage scalping and make certain shoes and certain colorways of shoes difficult to get.

Plus add in the fact their stuff is hella over priced and so many small competitors have been popping up like mushrooms in spring.

Fitness influencers on social media are bigger than ever and they are used to push athleisure wear and gym clothing ie competition to Nike, adidas, puma etc

I remember going to the Nike store.. generic ass hoodie with the Nike logo on it… $200.

Are they crazy? :mjlol:

Add the cost of living going up whilst pay rates not even coming close to matching that shyt. People are leaving home later than ever because of rent costs.

Plus their creativity is trash and collab items are botted and scalped.

Only reason I go to Nike are for OG Jordan’s , slides, and backpacks that last me 5+ years.

The resell game was helping them out at one point and time and shoes were selling out that would have been sitting otherwise. Now the bulk of them are sitting and going for under retail even before release.
Nike’s fault for back room selling many pairs to create a false sense of scarcity

Nike is an evil entity and it deserves to close its doors.
