I’m 44 years old. When I see a pair of shoes online that I want to buy, the possibility of actually buying them would be nice. Nike building hype and building hype to the point the average person knows that they aren’t interested in selling us their best designs. It’s goofy. I have to pay 3 times the price or be friends with a teenager working at a shoe store in order to get your product? Do presale for whoever wants if you want to keep it exclusive but I’m not lining up or tagging my family members in a contest.

It bugs me to no end when I want a pair of shoes and can’t get them and some hypebeast who can’t even put an outfit together is in a selfie with like 30 boxes of them.

They’re better off keeping the retro shyt. These newer shoes coming out ain’t it. I copped a pair of Ja Morants only because they were cheap. I like them but they aren’t all that great. Copped some Zion’s and some KD’s. I mean I’m old school and grew up on what’s considered retro now so I’m biased lol.

Also, shoes of modern NBA players are ugly, soulless and they all look the same. Can’t touch the athletes of the 80’s and 90’s.
