why no good multiplayer dogfighting games?

I've yet to play a game that can simulate dogfighting well, flying just isnt fun in 90% of games.

I think that’s the problem. Making it a simulator makes it too difficult because flying isn’t particularly easy. But making it an arcade game maybe takes away any skill advantage.

A lot of legit fighter pilots play this game, requires a crazy set-up to get the most out of it though. Cats will legit use their fighter pilot knowledge out there:



Additionally, you really got to learn the aircraft. Talking reading the manuals, etc.

What about Star Wars Squadrons?

This game was sick online.

I was playing in VR and found out why them tie fighters always got shot down in movies, you had no visibility in them things.



In any of the rebel ships I was able to physically look at opponents and keep track of them, in the tie fighters I could only see out of the small window in front.

With helldivers 2 going crazy, I wouldn't be surprised if they added something like that to the game.

Star Wars Squadrons was fun once I got used to the controls. I agree that as a concept, more is needed.
