Kyrie is credited with the biggest shot in cavs history and KLove is credited with the biggest stop in cavs history. Delly got a fat contract with the bucks and TT and jr got huge deals as well. So did Mozgov. Richard Jefferson is still loved here for his play. So that narrative is false.
Define "credit"?

The Cavs just let an unproven rookie don the jersey number of the guy who hit what will probably be the most important shot of the organization's history

TT is a Kardashian now enough said

JR smith is now the scapegoat for finals lost number 6 even tho the supposed best player in world gave up on the series after regulation in game 1.

Kevin Love who led the post season in rebounding and made the allstar team this year is now seen as a player who can't help win a championship.

Bron is a diva man, grown ass men ain't trying to deal with that shyt no matter how much fake glory u offer to team up with him. Kyrie forced that trade for a reason and other super stars have taken note

I remember when Kobe was still good, but aging, people were saying nobody wanted to play with him - but people wanted to play with Lebron.

Well, Lebron was in his 20s at the time, and Kobe was clearly heading towards retirement.

Now that Lebron is aging, it seems teaming up with him doesn't seem as attractive. Also, him having lost so much in the Finals does kind of make playing with him losing his appeal. Basically, you can play with Lebron, with all that comes with that, and still not wing a ring - and be shaded when the media says he has no help.

people didn't like playing with kobe when he was in his 20s neither.

BS post

Kawhi seems hesitant to play with him,

where are you getting this from when we have reports saying otherwise

Source: Kawhi Leonard reaches out to LeBron James, expresses interest in playing together

Yahoo is now part of Oath

KD not returning his calls,

this shyt never happened and you're a dumbass if you believed that in the first place

CP3 went back to Houston,

cp3 was never leaving houston, he wanted lebron to come there

and then PG went back to OKC.

this has nothing to do with lebron more than he was trying to get bigger bag. remember, PG wanted to go to the Cavs last season as long as lebron was committed to staying

RUMOR: The No. 1 Reason The Cavs Didn't Get Paul George Last Summer Involved LeBron James

Are we sure Embid is down to take a backseat to Bron in Philly?

embiid is the one out here trying to recruit lebron

Joel Embiid: LeBron James 'Takes Us to Another Level'

ben simmons too

I'm starting to think he'll go back to Cleveland off the strength of cats not trying to run with him.

IMO it was always the cavs...the lakers might have beena real option for him if they got both george and kahwhi though. I can't see lebron going to the lakers if only one of those guys were there because you need legit trio to compete with the stackedness of the warriors

Kyrie HIMSELF said its not a great deal and he's excited for it. Kyrie also just said bron is the real mvp of the league. Cavs players just said during the past finals if they had kyrie they would've beat the warriors. I don't agree with that but thats how much he is respected here.

What does being a kardashian have to do with anything? He got a contract he don't deserve because of bron who forced management to give him that money.

Bron also got jr that contract after the finals. He played like shyt since and made bonehead plays throughout the finals. He's untradeable because bron told management he wants him back and to overpay him.

KLove just said he hopes and prays he can play with bron for the rest of his career. That straight from his mouth. Doesn't sound like he's in misery to me.

Bron is a diva but most players he's played with think he's a great teammate. Perfect...no. Do all like playing with him...no. But the majority do. You're better off arguing that he don't mesh well with coaches. That is a very legit flaw he has.

The Cleveland Cavaliers discussed a trade for Paul George last June that could have allowed them to keep Kyrie Irving in the process.

"Last summer, they could have acquired Paul George," said Adrian Wojnarowski on the Adam Schefter podcast. "I think Paul George wanted to know, 'if LeBron commits to some years going forward, then I might be willing to commit.'

"When LeBron wasn't willing to commit to an extension, that told me, they could have had Paul George without losing Kyrie. That's a very different team: Kyrie Irving, Paul George and LeBron James.

"When he wasn't ready to do that then, Cleveland was worried and rightly so."

NYC, LA, LeBron...

(Star) NBA players are gonna get paid regardless, so that fan mentality of being enamored with a city or another player.. they don't care. Esp as they get older. I dont think its specific to Lebron (or Kobe) or a specific city.

It worked with Bron and Wade bc they were best friends, same with CP3 tryna recruit Bron. Cliqued up.

But PG13, Kawhi, Kyrie, etc.. they got their own cliques and situations, and are gonna get paid 100s of millions regardless

dont try to use logci in here breh

this isnt the place for it :pachaha:

Narrative changing a bit among the ESPN crew.

Very, very interesting to hear Jackie MacMullan, Zach Lowe and Brian Windhorst (on two separate podcasts) all bring up the fact that Lebron's refusal to sign a longer-term deal with the Cavs last summer lost them Paul George (would have been a 3-way trade between Indiana, Denver and the Cavs, and PG would only come if Lebron agreed to an extension).

Jackie McMullan flat out said that Lebron had hurt the Cavs' chances at competing for a championship because of his forcing short-term personnel decisions at the expense of long-term success, and that he deserved a good portion of the blame for the Cavs 1-3 performance in the finals since his return. Also defended Dan Gilbert for being willing to go deep into the tax with the highest payroll in the league in an effort to provide Lebron the pieces to win.

2017-2018 Cavs could have been Lebron, Kyrie, and PG. Can you imagine that shyt??? :whoo::whew:

Had to run it back twice to make sure I wasn't hallucinating or some shyt :russ:

T.O.
Players are happy with there situations and dont all want to move themselves to accomodate Brons legacy, those are the facts...

Maybe PG liked OKC and playing with Russ cuz he knows Russ wont throw him under the bus like LeBron does when he doesnt get his way...

Russ seems like a loyal nikka where as Bron tried to trade Kyrie for P 2 years ago....

Has anyone tried to fight Bron ?

Every book I read about him he's wishy washy the David Blatt situation was crazy from the start he was like fukk this dude and anything he said to like never ever wanting to run the offense Blatt wanted to run that would have kept Bron from tiring out.

lebron can't take any blame for that trade not going down considering it was already done but the pacers renigged at the last second simply because they didn't want to help the cavs/eastern rival, so they sent Pg out west

That was the story then, they actually discussed it being a smokescreen on the podcast.

Just check out the latest Lowe Post podcast, they take some time on it.

Transaction was (if I recall correctly) Love to Denver, bunch of Denver picks + one player to Indiana, and PG to Cavs.

Woj was clearly uncomfortable with what Zach was saying on there :russ:
