Why nobody talk about MC Ren?

Was just listening to some MC Ren albums today dude was raw as fukk back then he was my favorite from NWA, but no one mention him, easily one of the best out of Compton but everyone quick to mention Kendrick Lamar best out of Compton? fukk that I would pick Shock of the hour over any kendrick album.

I hate how his contributions were minimized in Straight Outta Compton. Wish he had had consistent releases in the 90s and early 00s.

I know when I first saw straight outta Compton at the cinema I was like there was barely any MC Ren in it. His solo albums were so dope villian in black, shock of the hour, kizz my black azz were all dope albums

MC Ren was dope af...Unfortunately he was apart of the long list of talented MCs of the golden era that got lost in the mix..

He really hasn’t been in the industry since 1998. Ruthless For Life was a DOPE album IMO but he’s another artist that suffered under Ruthless after Eazy died. Everything I’ve heard since 98 has been very lackluster and he hasn’t progressed his flow or vocabulary since the either so there’s a disconnect there even before you hear the cheap/bad beats. That Osiris album was good a few years ago, he need a producer to keep him in line and keep an eye on things IMO
