Westbrook is a horrible decision maker and plays for stats. Melo being an iso player isn't the reason their struggling.

Westbrook hasn't changed one bit from his play style for the past 4-5 years.

Last year nikkas considered him the MVP. The reality is he had a very talented Kanter and Oladipo that didn't get enough burn.

Westbrook will ultimately destroy that team..

why not just play them at their natural positions, melo at the 3 and PG at the 2. Bring roberson off the bench and go "small" late in games.

Melo can't score against or consistently defend 3s at his age and lateral quickness. He struggles to get past 4s.

I just heard a stat on Dunc’d On that Westbrook is contesting even fewer shots than he did last year. He’s the lowest in the league by per minute average.

It’s amazing how this is possible and their defense is still top 3

Roberson, Adams, and PG should all be 1st team defense locks if they can keep this up

I say Adams is DPOY, if you watch the Thunder play a lot then its's very noticeable how much the team's defensive strength rests on his shoulders

He's being wasted w/Flabmelo and Russ' stat padding/overall failures as a playmaker

So you're gonna put Melo on 2s? You're talking about Kawhi and Durant so you gonna put him on Danny Green or Klay? How many wide open threes you planning on giving up when Melo gets caught on off-ball screens? You gonna trust Melo to contest hard and push them off the three?

Melo can't guard most perimeter players. He lacks the lateral quickness to defend against explosive guards and wings, he lacks the foot speed and endurance to contest shooters while chasing them off screens.

Who are you gonna put him on if they go against a Houston? Ariza, Harden, or Paul? Wiggins or Butler in Minny?
