Melo will have games where he'll knock down shots, he's simply too talented a player to not, but consistency is what matters in the NBA and Melo consistently struggles to get past defenders and finish in traffic

Even with new coaching, Melo's game (and mentality) doesn't look like it will deviate too much from that of an ISO scorer.
It's pretty lame to see this team not be able to figure it out when you consider how many teams--particularly this year--have adapted to the modern NBA climate. Like, it's absurd how this team ran out of their grace period/sympathy stage/excuses for inferior play, because they were supposed to have been cooking up something already and making noise.
They need to bring in a winner through that door. OKC don't have winners.
He's a superstar don't get me wrong, but I honestly think Westbrook and his triple doubles are overrated. OKC'll figure it out eventually.
Harden should have won that MVP, imo. He was 1.9 rebounds a game from averaging a triple double himself and a lot of Westbrook's rebounds were fugazi.

We all knew Melo was gonna be heavy iso player. But him not having enough lift on his J to hit those uncontested shots is very troubling. Might wanna slap a Larry Holmes haircut on him.

As long as Wesrbrook keeps being enabled by fans, coaches and the media the Thunder will never win a championship. He simply is a terrible team player and consistently makes players around him look like garbage. Every player that left him looked better on another team, Kevin Martin, Waiters, Kanter, Oladipo, and obviously KD.
When are people going to start calling him out? Fire the coach and get a coach that has the balls to call that low IQ player out.
