He does . It could be a great move or it can backfire . Like the celtics with perk chemistry and someone buying into the system is a big part of team success. We can't tell what kmart does when on a winning team , he plays no d and it's not that easy coming off the bench . Neither is Harden per se but he is for the Thunder
Joe Johnson is not a max player but with him as a 3rd option on the Suns he was perfect and could have helped the Suns win a title or two which would have been worth it paying him max as opposed to a team like the Hawks where he had to be the best player which hes not god enough to be on a contender

That's what I'm saying. OKC is a small market and they can't afford to pay that luxury tax. They got 2 super stars all ready.
I think the media is still on Miami's model for winning a title. You need 3 max contract type players. Maybe Harden wanted to be a starter and get max starter money. You can't knock him for that and you can't knock the Thunder not wanting that saga to be a distraction during the year.
