type 4b/c hair looks dry, but that does not mean it is. the edges are slicked back. it without a doubt has product on it.
a twistout that didn't set will not be more neat. it didn't set, so it won't look right. the hair will be frizzy, and if the hair didn't dry thoroughly before being taken down the hair will shrink & look like the photo of her.

blue ivy's hair most likely looks like this when not manipulated.

Like I said either way its none of people business...noone should be making fun of a child..my wife is natural and so is my daughter by the way and my daughter's shyt could get hectic and look dry if its not kept up...but u right ur a woman u know more than me...all I said is its cool to keep it moisturized and keep it neat..

I know plenty of little girls with 4C hair that looks nothing like the travesty in the quoted. I have 2 kids and my daughter and my wife is natural...but their hair is healthy..moist..and neat..only people who dont know shyt about natural hair or hair in general thinks that it has to look matted and dry for it to be natural...im not even against dreading a kids hair...and I believe in using natural products on the body and hair as well...natural or not if u dont take care of ur hair it can be a problem in the future...u can have problems keeping the scalp clean and washing the hair cause its gonna be matted as fukk...that said I think people should mind their business and making fun of a kid is fukked up..

Her hair NEVER looks matted. He hair doesnt look unhealthy either. Its growing, it doesnt have any patches, etc... If her hair were of a looser texture I doubt any of us in here would want it to be tamed. Only 3A or less can have free flowing hair.
