Why Psychology isn't a Science..

Psychology covers a darn lot, and I'd say neuroscience could be considered a subfield of psychology.

If you're looking into purely input-output in terms of sensory processing or pavlovian-level behaviours (stimulus, observed behaviour) then you're really not far from observing just atoms colliding and noting the results.

For instance: if I can determine that the incidence of homosexuality is 1000 x higher in big cities than in tribes and rural areas, then I can determine what factors cause this - what is soft or unscientific about that?

I don't know what "purity" of science is supposed to mean, I am just saying that studying HUMANS is more "important" cause that's us. The study of humans includes all the other sciences. The study of math does not include the others. In fact Math is the most basic since everything else builds on it.

Be specific if you'd like to continue to debate this. "That's stupid" is not very scientific of you.

Yeah. Like kids DON'T do better in certain environments. Like we CAN'T determine what the ideal environment is for a child. Like we CAN'T determine the things in our current environment which are causing our children to have negative outcomes. Like we CAN'T lay out solutions.

And here's the kicker: as a black person these issues are emergency level critical. Somehow getting our hoods together is more important to me than the next particle they find with an atom smasher. Life or death for my family members.
