There are many of them but I can't recall any of them becoming a well respected rapper.

Diggy had a spark...

Let's talk about this.

most of the offspring of well known rappers came from good / wealthy backgrounds.
as a result fans dont respect their hustle/grind and dont listen to them off gp. That's how I see it.

To this day, people still try to discredit Drake because

A) he's jewish and was always affluent
B) was an actor getting some bread before rap
C) came from Canada which is considered soft

They're not hungry.

Almost every rapper makes their best music when they're just starting out. The richer they get the worse their music gets. Till they end up falling off completely.

A lot of wealthy kids never live up to their parents success. Everything is handed to them so they have no real incentive to hustle or break new ground.

Breeding athletic genetics is a totally different example, no comparison at all.

Right and even with their father's "Gawd Genes" many Jr.'s don't make it in athletics which more heavy handedly illustrates the point that just coming from a talented parent is not an automatic guarantee for success.

100%

Diggy, Jojo Simmons, Rich Hill...their music is meaningless and has no personality or flavor to it.

Lil Eazy-E and Young Dirty b*stard are just untalented coattail riders living off of the legacy of their deceased fathers.

They not hungry

Mostly every rapper in today's lime light is related to some millionaire who put them on

This is why the music is trash because it lacks creativity

It's a catch/22

Not many offspring of famous rappers are gonna sign 360 deals or any bullshyt contract for that matter because they already know the game, so from that aspect they'll always have a difficult time making it mainstream.

On the other end of the spectrum, not many offspring of famous rappers are gonna want to go the underground route and strip themselves of financial support, access to services and network connections in and effort to go completely off the grid and raise a grassroots movement. Hell even if they did, how believable would they be?

So the answer to this is the same as any other Hip-Hop conundrum, just make good music and put on a good show; if people like it they like it, if they don't, they don't.
