Why should I believe that Mf Doom is a good rapper ,,?

first off.. no sole rapper has better beats than doom. period.

secondly, the nikka's vocab & knowledge is so far ahead of your average rapper, i'd truly recommend you read his lyrics to get into his shyt

thirdly, his style of rap is that of a schizophrenic.. never have i heard a more original style.. only one who comes close is odb who didn't even write his bars.. and doom actually has bars

breh.. the nikka doesn't show his face.. to make a statement against generic rappers selling everything but good music (brands of clothing, looks, intoxicants they choose to use, etc) AND incorporated that with a comic book villain.. dude is like the real life hip hop villain

i mean.. sometimes he sends imposters to perform his shows and breaks bread with them

he goes by different monikers.. and has albums under those different monikers with which he uses different rap styles

his creativity is thru the roof, he's basically pimping the rap game, rarely will u hear a hook from him, he has a critically acclaimed discography for a reason

i could go on and on about why doom is goat but if u don't get the picture by now just peep game

His style was unique. I highly enjoy his work and creativity.

First doom track I ever heard was 1 Beer, at first I was like "this shyt is all over the place". But after a while you start to understand, that's the whole point.

It's an acquired taste but once you get it

It's all a fictional character in his own fictitious world. You gotta go all in and accept that. The voice and flow turned me off at first too.

This. The way Doom goes about saying the things he says is far more entertaining than most rappers...like ok you can be braggadocious but show some fukking effort.
