I remember Jalen Rose saying that he was the very first person named Jalen. He said his momma or granny created the name lol, I never fact checked it but he definitely was the first Jalen in the NBA.

We’ve never know any other Jalen other than Jalen Rose and all the Jalen’s that came after. Dope name though, I always liked it. Just too many Gen Z and Alpha kids named Jalen
