Breh it’s not too many cities that have the level of street activity that Baltimore does. Bmore got that 3 generations outside on a block at given time shyt going on. I don’t think Bmore people move away and are happy anywhere really, and that’s a reason why. Philly probably the only city that would come close to how y’all hang out in the hood. I’d say it’s a regional cultural thing, cuz you don’t see that in spots like Detroit or Gary, and from an eyeball level on the street, they look worse. And that’s saying a lot cuz most of what I saw in Bmore outside the stuff around downtown a few spots in NW looked fukked up.
If you really looking for that type of activity in Charlotte you can find it tho, it’s just not on a stoop or a street corner. Gas stations, strip clubs, Barber shops. I feel what you saying cuz I’m the same way, I can post round the way just as easily as get dressed up and go pull up somewhere. I lived in Uptown at first, which was str8. Then moved right off Tuckaseegee, wasn’t 24/7, but it was more than a little bit of random hood shyt going on
Breh I was with you on the first one, but if you complaining about it being slow and dry, Mathews and them other areas are the last places I would tell someone to move to in Charlotte. No way in hell I would tell someone who say they interested in the things OP mentioned to move to those areas over Uptown, South End, NoDa, Plaza Midwood and maybe Dilworth if you a young family man. fukk yeah it’s worth to pay the ticket in those areas if you trying to go out.
