Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
It's hella boring and dry here. I'm originally from Baltimore, where you see people 24/7, everywhere. Here (and most of the South in general) you only really see people if you go into a store or the movies or something.

Yea old cities that are urban are like that. Blame the southern sprawl for that!

I stayed there for a minute, hated it when I was there, I moved up after running around during CIAA with cousins from Philly, kinda finessed myself on that one so I started to resent it after I actually moved there. Then fell into some issues that could've easily been avoided, and started to hate it more. But I actually kinda like it now, and I realize what Charlotte is, and who I was at that time, it just wasn't for me. And also a slight minority of my issues was just me being not happy and seeing the negative in everything. I still have some business there so I pull up kinda often, and I somewhat look forward to going now. It's not bad having a different flavor to pull up into just 3 hours up the road. I will say that you should really get a feel for the city and then go home and look at yourself in the mirror and really think about if it's your life style, cuz it's not a one size fits all type of spot at all.

Once again.......thanks for the info.
How did u find dating in Charlotte?

If you single you pretty much gotta live right in Uptown or South End, if you end up in one of the other areas you probably gonna be around a bunch of couples and families. The single scene in Charlotte is different. I was engaged half my time up there, but the single half I was knocking off a lot of chicks who were cheating on they dude and a lot of baby mamas. I lucked up and and caught a few new in town corporate chicks in traffic or out at spots, but I'm doing my own thing like you breh, it's hard to really catch those types in CLT because the corporate scene is so big there, and you not in that circle, you not in it.

Breh it’s not too many cities that have the level of street activity that Baltimore does. Bmore got that 3 generations outside on a block at given time shyt going on. I don’t think Bmore people move away and are happy anywhere really, and that’s a reason why. Philly probably the only city that would come close to how y’all hang out in the hood. I’d say it’s a regional cultural thing, cuz you don’t see that in spots like Detroit or Gary, and from an eyeball level on the street, they look worse. And that’s saying a lot cuz most of what I saw in Bmore outside the stuff around downtown a few spots in NW looked fukked up.

If you really looking for that type of activity in Charlotte you can find it tho, it’s just not on a stoop or a street corner. Gas stations, strip clubs, Barber shops. I feel what you saying cuz I’m the same way, I can post round the way just as easily as get dressed up and go pull up somewhere. I lived in Uptown at first, which was str8. Then moved right off Tuckaseegee, wasn’t 24/7, but it was more than a little bit of random hood shyt going on

Naw, not to me at least. Matthews is probably the best area to live in tbh. Harrisburg next, then Concord. I'm in the University area.

Breh I was with you on the first one, but if you complaining about it being slow and dry, Mathews and them other areas are the last places I would tell someone to move to in Charlotte. No way in hell I would tell someone who say they interested in the things OP mentioned to move to those areas over Uptown, South End, NoDa, Plaza Midwood and maybe Dilworth if you a young family man. fukk yeah it’s worth to pay the ticket in those areas if you trying to go out.
