When is comedy a factor for moving to a city. Theres so many other things to do.Bottom 50 comedy scene. And unanimously the worst comedy scene in the state.![]()

Because Charlotte is ass. Can't wait to officially move to the LA area![]()
I’m never living in the city lol. I’ve done so many stories on people getting kicked out of their homes for brand new or refurbished apartments. I have no problem with anything you said lol. That 277/77 construction at night though!extremely gentrified, half of the the northeast is crippled and streets blocked off because of that light rail... I-277 is a complete mess with the reconstruction going on... so called luxury apartments (which are nothing but over-priced dorms) popping up all over the place...unnecessary valet parking everywhere....south carolina drivers driving like fricking maniacs.... gentrification bicycles and scooters is the new wave... the clubs and women is like any other city you know how that go...pandlers begging for money is at every intersection even in the burbs...the job market is cool for IT but that's the only market I know although the Indians run this sht - seems like they took over the university area but I don't mind living around them bc they mind their business

It’s “just right” to me.. it gives you a big city feel but it also feels like a small community at times. You don’t have to live in the city to enjoy it(I don’t) You can go 20 miles up the interstate and end up in a smaller community and live there if you want.shyt us growing way too fast though lol. I moved here 3 years ago and it looks so different now compared to 2015.
It's hella boring and dry here. I'm originally from Baltimore, where you see people 24/7, everywhere. Here (and most of the South in general) you only really see people if you go into a store or the movies or something. What makes it suck in your own opinion

You do stand up or something? If that's so and Charlotte really has the worst comedy scene in the state, that should make it easier for you to attack that market and climb the ladder. (if you're good at it)Bottom 50 comedy scene. And unanimously the worst comedy scene in the state.![]()
Naw, not to me at least. Matthews is probably the best area to live in tbh. Harrisburg next, then Concord. I'm in the University area.Is it worth living downtown/uptown?
I’m hoping one of the bruhs from Charlotte can jump in and help you out with finding places to live but I’ll tell you what I can. Mallard Creek/University area are pretty good for me. I work with a couple folks who bought homes in those area and they live it there. I hang out there most because I live closer to that side. Concord/Kannapolis maybe Huntersville are a couple options. And yeah they’re building all these high priced ass apartments and shyt. I’m like are they really filling them shyts up?So basically its growth is pushing more for new uprising apartmwnts and offices with higher rent?
