Surely the GOAT hypeman could've transitioned his game in the early 2000's era when all a nicca had to do was sneeze to get a plat plaque :ohhh:

I agree that Busta should have done more for his team. But "Spliff Star"? Stop it slime. Just for kicks I made a top 5 list of artists Busta had under his wing, that could have had better careers. Spliff didn't make my top 5.

1. Lord Have Mercy - No brainer, he has to be the top pick. At the worst he could have been the Robin to Busta's Batman
2. Roc Marciano - Arguably one of the best mcees of the 2010's
3. Rah Digga - She was moving for a minute but could have had more longevity
4. Papoose - That era was the end of Pap's rise & the beginning of his downfall
5. Cut Monitor Milo - His verse on "What's Next" showed serious potential, but Busta rolled with Rampage instead
6 (Bonus) - Baby Sham He was young, he had a nice little flow, he just needed guidance on how to put dope songs together

I'd put Spliff Star at 7th, some might make a case for him at the 5 spot.

if he was saving his show money from that era he should be OK

i saw him in a frankfurt airport with his team on their way to catch a flight or go to a show or something, it was 2007 and i was on my way to madrid

it was like 6AM and i was a lil hungover from drinking on my flight out from merica, but i recognized him as i was walking to catch my connecting joint.

i was like :ohhh: thats spliff star!

but then i was like man, he prolly dont wanna some nikka fanboying out on him at 6AM at the baggage claim, so as i walked by i just kept looking in his direction like :youngsabo:

he saw me eyeing him, (pause:whoa:), and once he was looking at me, i just hit him with the :salute::myman: as i walked by

he was like :obama::salute: and i kept it movin to my flight.

he was never gon be a big name in the game. only time i was like :leon: at a drag on rhyme was his verse on "down bottom"; that beat was the shyt too :whew:
im just :lolbron:

Opposite of H20 was ok at times but i bought it back in the day and was legit mad i spent my $15 on that. i was so confused thinking Drag was next up and Eve dropped a better album than him..way better.
