How many of you even watched Oregon play?

Mariota & darron Thomas both only ran on broken down pass plays or designed qb runs. Outside of sacks these guys rarely got hit

people think because of the success of rgIII, kapernick (sp) and russell wilson (and lets not forget killa cam) that the NFL is going towards the spread option/pistol offense and it will be hard to defend.

1. Oregon's offense flopped against teams with a lot of NFL caliber talent. In college football its more about the talent level than it is the scheme. doesn't matter what offense you run, if you have the best talent, you will win.

2. Most of the offensive players at Oregon did not transition well in the pros especially at quarterback.

I'm not saying he's going to flop like Steve Spurrier but unlike college, coaches work year round. players plan/prepare longer. the talent level is even. QB's like Wilson and RGIII beat teams with their legs after plays broke down more so than planned running plays
1 .It's not going to flop.
2. The entire content of your post tells me that you don't know anything about the game of football other than the words National Football League. You fantasize about Tom Brady in your sleep and have a huge photo of Tony Romo's eyes in your bathroom.

We've already seen parts of his offense being implemented into the NFL successfully, so assuming he's obviously a smart guy, I don't see why he can't figure it out. I think the main thing, more than formations or any of that, is gonna be the quick no huddle pace that he brings to their team.
