If it wasn't for Big Hutch aka Cold 187um it wouldn't be no Chronic.

Above The Law kicked off that sound, straight from Dallas own Willie Hutch. Which actually came together on that second N.W.A. Album.

The Chronic just got push and controversy, sonically nikka's 4 Life was the culmination.

This perspective is not popular:

I can't bump the Chronic because the lyrics are pretty basic. The entire thing damn near.

People make is seem ridiculous to judge a Rap record by the raps, but I always have and I still do.

I recognize the impact, I just don't enjoy the experience as much as more accomplished bars.
