I just copped a late 2014 mb pro and my girl got a 2010.... Them shyts look identical except mine is a little thinner and different ports. On top of that they perform almost the same on most apps.

When she copped her MB Pro I got a Dell Studio 17 at the same time. That Dell died 2 years ago and even before that it was straight

I'm guessing that's a big reason why they so expensive.
