why the hate on Arab countries when it seems they have it right?

I haven’t lived in any of these places but to me it seems like these countries take care of their citizens.

Off top:

You get gifted with money for your wedding
Free tertiary education
The government helps you with housing
Low cost of living
Etc.

What’s not to like? Sure they may have social issues but so does the everywhere else. Like anywhere, as long as you follow the laws and rules you won’t have any problems. That goes for any society, free or caged.

It just seems like those oil rich countries actually care about their citizens.

I’m here to learn, correct me if I’m wrong.

He is probably talking about Qatar and UAE and the system itself, not how they treat black people. They give their locals benefits on benefits, and live a high quality life with not so much tax.

-Countries like Libya and Morocco literally have modern day slavery going on with Black Africans which is something that even the most racist European and Asian countries don't partake in.

- There's tons of poverty, income inequality, and lack of job opportunities in many Arab countries.

- Women have very limited rights in most of those countries too(I know contrarians on TLR would applaud this but a nation can't prosper while stifling their women's growth).

- There's tons of malnutrition and people who can't get a decent meal(partly due to the 2nd reason).

-Islamic extremism with tons of fights between Shiite and Sunni Muslims

Ironically, the only Middle Eastern countries that seem to "have it right" are Turkey and Israel and the former isn't Arab and the latter is full of non-Arabs prospering off a Arab territory.

Certain regions in Libya do partake in modern day slavery, but I'm not aware of any modern day slavery going on in Morocco. Can you please show some references to this. Did you mean to say Mauritania?
