I still say, you get Gasol, throw them old nikkas like Jones and Shard Lewis overboard, bring in Ennis, and you right back to bringing it to whoever comes out West.

But, Heat regular season games gonna matter to me again, and Wade/Bosh can finally play their games.

And shyt didn't they draft Shabazz?

I dont understand why him wanting to go back to OH, where he feels more comfortable , and bring a ring home is being discounted here

by any & all accounts that was why this happened

this thread is terribly reactionary anyways, this is a thread that would have merits in may/june

its still october :russ:

Take it for what it's worth but I would have made this thread a month ago...it just never made sense to me basketball wise. But Lebrons a scripted cat...seems more legacy driven than winning driven.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I just feel he should have trusted Riley and stuck it out...the Heat would have been back in the finals imo and there's no guarantee the Spurs are..

They had no assets, so just trusting in Riley would have just resulted in :yeshrug: to be honest. There's only so much you can do with 3 players making as much as Bosh, Bron and Wade, that would have accounted for 95% of the cap :merchant:

No 1st round draft pick this year, no capspace next summer, no future picks owed to them, it would have just been the same ole situation of them scrounging the bargain bin for backup players while Bron/Bosh/Wade got a year older. The Cavs don't have that issue, they have assets, picks, young players and flexibility moving forward.

Isn't Lebron basically playing out his career a year at a time now though? I'm not convinced he'll sign a max in Cle under the new CBA...especially if things don't work this year.

He's signing a max, he'll be 32 and it will be his last big payday bank on it breh.

The only way this Cavs team doesn't win 50+ is if people get hurt, outside of that this thread is a bit too soon. They have the assets to add a max salary center this summer.....how would this team look with Roy Hibbert in the middle...

Is he signing the max in Cleveland though? Point is I thought the Hest had a better shot this year than Cleveland.

1.Only player in NBA history to quit because of Air Conditioner.
2.Quit on his team the year after he promises a championship.
3.Dunked on by a high school kid then confiscates the tape.
4.Bail on the dunk contest 9 times.
5.Only able to win a ring with 2 superstars.
6.Play on same team as his moms boyfriend.
7.Average 1.8 pts in the 4th quarter of NBA finals.
8.Lose not 1, not 2, but 3 times in the Finals.
9.Host a national televised TV show to leave his team.
10.Go 2 for 18 in an NBA playoff game.
11.Get stuffed by a player under 6 feet. (Nate Robinson)
12.Flop every single game in the playoffs.
13.Choke 4 out of 5 finals games by dropping FG% by 18.
14.0 Rings if not for refs calling early fouls on Durant and Westbrook it threw them out of rhythm, made them play soft, and sit for big parts of the game which changed the flow and momentum of the finals.

I don't think Lebron dipping should surprise anyone. This is a guy who wouldn't return Riles calls...lebron a going to do what he wants. There's no loyalty to a city there

The Cavs have more room for growth and assets to improve, with LeBron, Bosh and Wade the Heat were capped out with very little room to improve their roster. Compare the rosters of the Cavs this year, to the Heat in their first year.

What really needs to be addressed is the fact Wade didn't take a backseat to Bosh until LeBron left, had he been willing to give up the ball to Bosh and sacrifice touches maybe Bron doesn't leave since Bosh is still an elite player.
lebron tried to turn chris bosh into steve novak
that not on wade

Yes, he's going to sign with Cleveland outside of some catastrophic shyt happening, his brand at this point cannot withstand him leaving again.

What about next year and the year after that, who has the better chance of winning a title past 2015?
